Effects of microcurrent therapy with resistance exercises on strength, functional capacity, and muscle thickness in middle-aged adults: A pilot study
Dr Stefan Kolimechkov
FELLOW OF THE EUROPEAN COLLEGE OF SPORT SCIENCE
The European College of Sport Science (ECSS) was founded in 1995 in Nice, France. The ECSS is the leading association of sport scientists at the European level and maintains extensive co-operations with corresponding non-European associations. The purpose of the ECSS is the promotion of science and research, with special attention to sport science across Europe and beyond. What a great organisation to be part of.
I joined the College in 2017 as a member, and I had the opportunity to present scientific research at all of the last five Annual Congresses of the ECSS in 2019 in Czech Republic , 2020 virtually, 2021 virtually, 2022 in Spain , and 2023 in France .
In 2024, I was officially recognised as a Fellow of the European College of Sport Science (FECSS) by the Credentials, Awards & Tributes Committee of the European College of Sport Science. Fellows of the ECSS have made a significant contribution to the development of sports science through research and have supported the College immensely. Some of the requirements to become a Fellow of the ECSS include: PhD level, minimum of five years membership, minimum of 3 participations in annual congresses of the ECSS, 15 publications (submitted as first or last author), and evidence of contribution to sports science and the ECSS.
