ABOUT
The 2024 Masters Gymnastics World Cup was held at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the USA, after the success of the previous Wrold Cup in Einbeck in Germany in 2023. The competition welcomed many like minded people from around the world who continue to get great enjoyment from training and competing in this wonderful sport of ours. This event helped to kickstart and normalize adult competitive gymnastics in the US, Germany, Japan, and UK, and highlighted the inspiration of being involved in “gymnastics at all ages”. MY PERFORMANCE
This was my first international competition as a master gymnast competing for my country, Great Britain. Without doubt, having the opportunity to represent the masters gymnastics GB Team has been one of the best and proudest achievements in my sports career. In this competition, I competed on Still Rings (score: 13.400) and Pommel Horse (score: 11.200) to help our team rank fourth. In addition, I also represented my club Chelsea Gymnastics Academy as an individual gymnast and ranked 12th on the Rings in the world.
