Welcome to the 9th edition of the International Artistic Gymnastics Tournament Lyubcho Solachki. Once again, many clubs from all over the country as well as gueasts from abroad arrived in the city of Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria. The comeptition was held in Scaptopara Hall on 1 & 2 December 2012. The boys squad of GC Levski was represented by David, Viktor, Alexander and Velizar. They competed in Category 1 (CAT1) - boys up to 10 years of age. David won 2 medals - silver on Vault and bronze on Parallel bars. Viktor got silver medal on pommel horse and Alexander got bronze on the same apparatus. Well done!

Gymnastics Club 'Levski Spartak 08' Sofia organised once again its annual event - Christmas Show. The party was opened with a short speech from the president of the club - Mr Nikola Prodanov. After that the gymnasts performed various skills on different apparatuses and played lots of games. On the video above you can see the advanced and recreational groups, coached by Stefan Kolimechkov. Jordan Jovchev (President of BFG) receiving his award
After a colourful opening ceremony, the event was opened with a short speech delivered by the best Bulgarian gymnast Jordan Jovchev, who is also the president of the Bulgarian Gymnastics Federation and the Gymnast N1 in the planet for 2003. Amongs the VIP guests were also Krasimir Dunev from Bulgaria (Silver Olympic medalist on High bar) and Dimosthenis Tampakos from Greece (Olympic Rings Champion).
The boys squad of GC Levski was represented by Vassil, Georgi, Viktor and David. They competed in Category 1 (CAT1) - boys up to 10 years of age. Viktor won a bronze medal on Parallel bars, after performing a beautiful routine on this apparatus. Georgi got silver medal on Vault. Congratulations!

“Sports Without Borders” Foundation organised the National Sports Panorama 2011. The main focus was on the connection between sport and education.
At the meeting were invited over 100 headmasters and 67 presidents of sports federations. The Bulgarian Gymnastics Federation took part in the National Sports Panorama with many young gymnasts, who performed gymnastics skills on different apparatuses. On the special video above, you can see gymnasts from the advanced boys squad of GC Levski Spartak 08 Sofia, coached by Stefan Kolimechkov. The event was held at the National Palace of Culture in the city of Sofia on 29th April.
The main purpose of the gathering was “Sports Without Borders” Foundation to initiate a future partnership between sport and education, get information how schools and associations cooperate and define needs and interests.
