Level 3 Men's Artistic Coaching Qualification

I am currently doing the Level 3 coaching course in Men's Artistic Gymnastics, which is organised by the UK National Governing Body for the sport of Gymnastics (British Gymnastics).

About the Course

The UKCC Level 3 qualification takes the form of practical Technical Modules, covering all six apparatuses in men's artistic gymnastics (Floor, Pommel Horse, Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars and High Bar), as well as a Generic theory course.

Technical Module 1 has enabled me to teach a variety of exciting floor and vault skills. Level 3 Men's Artistic

As of 31 May 2017 I have taken all Technical Modules and passed the assessment (post-course technical sign-off by a BG recognised assessor) for each of the modules. Moreover, I took the coaching theory, and I am about to take the final theory exam later this year, as part of the complete Level 3 qualification.

Eligibility

Any coach who holds at least a Level 2 award, may access the Level 3 qualification.

In order to work as a gymnastics coach in the UK, I had to apply for a coaching qualification when I came here, at the beginning of 2013. All the required documents, including my B.A. degree in Sports Science, full CV, coaching experience, letters of recommendation, DVD presentation, etc., were sent to British Gymnastics. Eventually, my papers were recognised and validated, and, therefore, I was given a Level 2 Certificate in coaching gymnasticsUKCC Level 2, awarded by British Gymnastics on 3rd May 2013.
